Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor, popular for his roles on the well-known television series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to develop an interest in acting. While at his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was studying acting. While he was active in film and TV and on stage, his appearances on the small screen are what brought him much recognition. It is no surprise that his characters have been able to capture the attention of viewers by playing characters who are on either one side of the law. When he first appeared on television, for his debut project, he played the role of a serial killer. Then, he played the character of an NYPD Investigator. For his work in the small screen, he's been up for nomination numerous times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. He is known for his blue piercing eyes, which have become a signature and helped create a charismatic character for tough roles. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
